STAY AT RAMPURA FORT

No two rooms at Rampura feel exactly the same.
They carry the character of the fort, thick walls, old stone, open views, and quiet corners.

Some rooms once served a very different purpose. Others have always opened into shared spaces of daily life. Today, they have been carefully restored to offer comfort while preserving the fort’s original structure and story.

Choose the space that feels right for you.

Elephant Chambers / Hathi Ghar

The Hathi Ghar opens into the heart of the fort, its outer courtyard, where everyday life quietly unfolds.

From these rooms, you can look out into open spaces, watch the light shift through the day, and feel connected to the gentle rhythm of the fort. Mornings here may bring the sound of temple bells or footsteps crossing the courtyard. Evenings feel intimate and calm.

These rooms are warm, comfortable, and closely tied to the lived-in spirit of Rampura. They are perfect for guests who enjoy being at the centre of things, while still having their own private space.

Best suited for: Couples, solo travellers, and those who enjoy a homely, connected stay.

Horse Chambers / Ghudsaal

In earlier days, this section of the fort was where horses were housed and rested. Positioned at a vantage point overlooking parts of the fort and its surroundings, these chambers were built with strength and space in mind.

Today, the Horse Chambers retain that sense of openness and grounding. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and thick walls that keep them naturally cool. Windows and openings offer views across the fort surroundings, giving you a quiet sense of its scale and history.

There is a certain calm here, a stillness that comes from the room’s original purpose. These chambers are ideal for guests who appreciate heritage with depth and character.

Best suited for: Guests who enjoy larger spaces, history-rich settings, and scenic views.
